Capacitors for Ripple Control
Ripple Control capacitors are designed for couplers of remote control (ripple), which transmit a signal to high and very high voltage systems.
Ripple remote control is used to control the power system. In this way, it is possible to switch heating systems, pumps, street lighting, air conditioning or change consumption tariffs.
The ripple signal is transmitted to the MV and HV power network via an IGBT transmitter and a corresponding parallel or serial link. Parallel couplings are mainly used, which consist of ripple control capacitors, coupling transformers and other devices.
