ZEZ SILKO Ltd. is a significant producer of power capacitors, capacitors for power electronics, induction heating capacitors, automatic capacitor banks and other products in the Czech Republic.

ZEZ SILKO Ltd. provides complete service in power factor correction and power system evaluation included harmonics (measurement of the network parameters, preparing specifications, manufacturing equipment and delivery to customers).

Tradition of this production in the Czech Republic dates back to 1930. Nowadays the firm has up-to-date production technology and quality control system according to standards ISO 9001. Ecology and environmental policy are of a great concern for ZEZ SILKO.

In 2014 certificate according to standard IRIS (International Railways Industry Standard) was received. This certification also done by BUREAU VERITAS proves the highest possible quality of supplies for railways industry. In 2020 recertification was carried out by Lloyd body.

By acquisition of the ISO 9001 and IRIS certificates as well as ISO 14001 (environmental management) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety management), a new stage of continuous quality improvement and process effectiveness has been commenced.. The act of certification itself is seen in ZEZ SILKO, s.r.o. as a tool for strengthening mutual trust and as the basis for the functioning and effective quality management system

In 2020, 90 years have passed since ZEZ SILKO has been providing its products and services to customers. This significant anniversary will be associated with a new corporate identity, which will provide the company's partners with a completely new and modern standard of mutual cooperation. The main point of this strategy is the new logo, which will certainly be reflected in the overall communication strategy.

ZEZ SILKO Ltd., a company with limited liability, was established in 1994 as a result of transformation of company ZEZ Žamberk.

The production of power capacitors in the Czech Republic dates back to 1930. It was started by licensed production of the Micafil company. In 1967, the production of capacitors from ZEZ Prague and ZEZ Jablonné nad Orlicí was concentrated in Žamberk.
